rj + janet

my high school spanish teacher, señora paslay, as i knew her for several years of my life turned into janet last year when she called me to schedule an anniversary session with her and her husband, RJ!

boy do i remember her putting up with quite a lot back in the day (not from me, of course)…well, there was this one time — well, nevermind about that!

anyway, as i was looking through their session to choose favorites for the blog, it was so hard because really, i love them all! it was such a fun and entertaining (i.e. RJ) time photographing them! we had to reschedule our initial date because of the weather. the second we called their session finished, it started sprinkling but remained such a beautiful night!

we chose a central location for their session since they live in another town. the location we chose just happens to be the same spot they used to go during their college years to get away for a little while. they even brought their Illinois College blanket to use for the session!

it was such a pleasure to be able to help them celebrate such a milestone in their lives! i hope the smiles and laughs continue for many years to come!
