it’s my february 2014 post for “the kids were here” ~ a project with other local photographers which is intended to help us document life’s everyday details (including the messes). life moves so quickly and our kids grow so fast and this project will help us always remember and appreciate our hectic and even a little chaotic lives as they are now. this project is also helping our group get to know each other even better so don’t forget to check out my friend tara long’s post as well!
my house is always in a state of transition. this week, i have been “spring cleaning” a little so it seems like the messes i can find are all huge, massive messes and let’s be honest…nobody needs to see that! so i found a few for you and here is what i learned:
every living room should have a perfectly placed basketball as part of the decor…doorknobs are not just for opening doors (and on a side note, i need new doorknobs)…cute containers should always hide ugly cords and xbox controllers…things keep coming home that remind of my childhood (those bracelets were popular back in the day)…we are sifting through hand-me-downs for baseball cleats and we have the winter boots lined up ready to be put away (because we are ready to put them AWAY)! stay warm friends ~ and would someone please hurry spring up a bit! 🙂
