aubrey + scott

you guys ~ these two people are so awesome! when i met with aubrey to talk about me photographing her wedding, i think we could have talked for hours! it was fun, comfortable and i left our meeting so excited.

we had such a great time during their engagement session which was months before the wedding. well ~ they decided “months” was too much time to wait so they did what anyone would do ~ they moved their wedding up four months!!!! WHAT?? I know but you guys ~ it’s simple ~ they love each other and just wanted to be married! who can blame them!! so be sure to stay tuned because this is just part 1 of their story.

aubrey and i were super excited because leading up to their wedding day, there was snow on the ground. so while we knew we couldn’t be outside long (central illinois in january, you with me), we’d get some images in the snow. and then that week, as only central illinois does, the weather forecast for their wedding day was bright and sunny with a high of 56. so instead of beautiful white snow, it was quite a bit of mud and slush, with a little ice leftover. but we made it work and had a great time getting these images! what’s also great, is for part 2, we should have an entirely different look to our scenery {unless central illinois decides to get really crazy in may}!

aubrey and scott ~ i can’t wait to see you guys again! enjoy part 1!

advice for brides/grooms: Scott — always be honest, trusting, and loving; Aubrey — always remember what made you fall in love with the other, be each other’s best friend, laugh, and for the wedding day, always remember the day is about you two sharing your love and spending the rest of your lives together, everything else shouldn’t matter!
